Audrey Jean Myers

She was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania in 1935 to Blair and Velma Williams. She grew up on a farm with her 9 brothers and sisters, attending primary school there and later graduating from high school in Elyria, Ohio where her family moved after the downturn of the coal industry in Pennsylvania. Audrey met Dale L. Myers in Elyria and they were married on February 26, 1956. Dale Ray, Kevin, Laurie and Serena were born to them. Dale had a fatal accident in 1977. Later Audrey re-met and married Glenn Hall, her high school sweetheart in January 2008. Audrey retired after working for the State of Michigan as a data processor. She was always up for an adventure, loving to travel she visited the Holy Lands and Europe, most of the US, as well as her children near and far, from Haiti to Alaska. Audrey was an active member in the work of Lansing Grace Brethren Church where she was a deaconess and worship leader. Most recently she attended Maranatha Baptist Church. She loved to sew and used her skills to make quilts for family and donation to area charities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Myers, parents: Blair and Velma Williams, and siblings: Blair, Ethel, Martha, Dorothy, and Dennis. And is survived by her husband, Glenn Hall, siblings: Eleanor, David, Bonnie and Dean, children: Dale Ray (and Lori), Kevin (and Nancy), Laurie (and Rick) and Serena (and Walt), grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Bridgeway Park Memory Care and Heart to Heart Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our mom in her final days.

A burial service will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 AM in the cemetery chapel. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shared Pregnancy of Lansing: (517)618-1753.
