Age 77
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on April 24, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Barb was born in Lansing, Michigan to Joseph and Mary Baldino on May 26, 1937. She grew up in Williamston Michigan. Barb lived with her family above their party store and worked at the soda fountain with her siblings. She enjoyed numerous trips with her sister and best friend, Elaine.
Barb eventually married Pat Dionise on August 21, 1965 and shared many memories, a wonderful life, and four daughters. They lived in Lansing and eventually moved to Grand Ledge to raise their children and start a business. Barb worked beside her husband day and night. Through struggles and set backs, they together created a successful business, Pasquale's restaurant. All, in Grand Ledge, as well as anyone she shared a meal with, loved her cooking.
Her purpose in life, and God's gift to her, were her 4 daughters. She took God's calling for her to be a mother and embraced it. She laughed and cried with her children and gave them strength and confidence. Her vibrant personality and love for her family was evident to anyone who knew her.
Barb is survived by her children, Lisa (Michael) Dionise, Laurie (Gary) Keoleian, Andrea Dionise, Julie (Jim) Spadafore. Grandchildren, Patrick, Sammy, & Ellie Dionise, Natalie, Michael, Sophia, & Gabriella Keoleian, Lucca, Anna, & Frank Spadafore. Her sister, Elaine Baldino, brothers, Phil (Carolyn) Baldino, Jim (Ricki) Baldino. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Pat, her parents, Mary & Joeseph Baldino, mother-in-law, Virginia Dionise, and father-in-law Sam Dionise.
