Barbara Ann Goris

Barbara Ann Goris went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 31, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born in Lansing on June 10, 1935, to Garnet Beach (Baker) and Howard Baker. Her siblings have all passed away within 1 ½ years of each other, Bob Baker, Sherri Baker and Russell Baker. Barbara worked for Hamady Brothers Grocery as a manager while she lived in Clio, Michigan. She then moved back to Lansing to be near her daughter.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Roxann (Phillip Frame) Mills-Frame and her son, Richard Goris; 3 grandchildren, Jason Mills, Joshua Mills and Justin Mills; 2 great granddaughters, Ava Mills and Piper Mills and her niece, Heidi Baker.

Barbara loved painting with oils and was commissioned by several people to paint for them as well as selling her art at local craft shows. She was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church and helped wherever she could especially with Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11am at DeepDale Cemetery with Pastor Ray from Maranatha Bible Church officiating.
