Barbara Lyon

Barbara J. Lyon-Smith (Stephens) Mason Age 83, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to the Lord on April 4, 2013. Born November 2, 1929 in Charlotte, MI. Barbara was a dairy farmer, and later she was manager of several clothing stores. She was a volunteer with the ?HOSTS Program? at North Aurelius School. She was a member of the Ingham County Genealogy Society. She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader when her children where in scouts. Surviving are her 6 children, Stephen (Jill) Lyon, Jeffery (Tonya) Lyon, Janet (Tim) Smith, Lyle (Roxanne) Lyon, Joyce (George) Banks, and Linda Lyon-Fitzgerald; numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (William) Harder; brother-in-law, Harold Blankenship; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Wayne R. Lyon in 1974, and Raymond R. Smith in 1991; parents, Leonard and Cecile (Ranney) Stephens; sisters, Norma Kelley, and Shirley Blankenship; brother, Hugh Stephens. Visitation is from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday with funeral services 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 8, at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Gerald Garcia from the Church of the Nazarene - Mason, MI officiating.
