Of Lansing-Delta TownshipAge 94, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away March 3, 2007. Born October 9, 1912 in Grand Junction, CO. Barbara was a member of the Lansing Doll Club; Bretton Woods Garden Club; Wally Byam Airstream Club where she was the club historian and loved the club rallys.

She was along time member of Bretton Woods Convenat Church. She worked in new product demonstration at the Board of Water & Light for many years. She volunteered as a ?Gray Lady? at St. Lawrence Hospital for over 50 years. She was an avid collector, and she always had a sense of humor. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A Wheeler in 1995; her parents, F. Carlton & Evelyn Bancroft; and her sister, Doris. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra (John) Heiler of Lansing; 2 grandchildren, Christine Heiler of Florida, and Stephen Scott (Shawn) Heiler of Lansing; 2 great-granddaughters, Katherine and Meghan Heiler; sister, Mary Ann Maurer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many close and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Wednesday (Today) with services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Mike Mirakian officiating.
