OBITUARY

Bartholomew "Bart" Leo Ferri

August 7, 1967January 7, 2021

At the young age of 53, Bartholomew (Bart) Leo Ferri passed away on January 7, 2021 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. A resident of Eaton Rapids, Bart was born August 7, 1967 to George and Marie Ferri at Garden City Hospital. He graduated from Walled Lake Central High School and attended Schoolcraft College for Culinary Arts.

Competitive by nature and always ready for action, Bart was often found playing pool, cards, fishing or just enjoying any other game imaginable. He was an avid comic book enthusiast and a lover of all things Rock n’ Roll. The Marvel comic books impacted his life so much that he named his beloved son, Logan, after The Wolverine . Bart loved listening to music, and if his mouth wasn’t shouting the lyrics, it was replaced with a huge smile across his face. He was often the loudest person in the room, and always had the best stories to tell. Bart was quick to make a friend and even quicker to make a joke.

He was a sweetly sentimental man who will be remembered for his boisterous laugh, big personality, and even bigger heart. Bart was fond of saying he lived life with no regrets, including his love for fast cars, fast women, and a fast life. His absence will be felt by all who knew him.

Bart was loved very much and will be missed dearly by his son, Logan Ferri, brother Paul (Kari) Ferri, sister Denise (Greg) Parks, nieces and nephew Jessica, Steven, Monica, Kristen and Natalya, along with aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Updates will be provided.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.grlansing.com for the Ferri family.

So the stories I could tell you about Bart we’ve been friends for 40 years I think the first time I meet Bart was in high school his family just moved there and he was looking for friends somehow we met in the hallway and we decided it was a good idea to go to a different high school and cause trouble well along the way teachers were chasing us and Bart was the only one when we were exiting the school the door was locked and he got caught. good thing he could call his sister Denise and bail him out and his parents didn’t even know he was very clever like that he was definitely a good guy good heart and I can tell definitely a lot more stories about that character and that’s what he was a character hopefully this makes sense I don’t have my glasses on getting old sucks LOL

Sending my love to all of your family and friends of Bart. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him, but shared many memories with Kristen. I only regret not getting to meet him. May heaven open its gates.
