Benjamin (Ben) Ruben Aguirre of Lansing, Michigan, and formerly of Charlotte, Michigan, age 37, beloved son, father and brother passed away September 2, 2021. Ben’s faith and belief in God has all of heaven rejoicing in his homecoming!
Benjamin was born April 25, 1984, to Hector and Sandra Aguirre and was the youngest of their three sons. He was preceded in death by his brother Tony Aguirre, grandparents Harold and Geraldine Holliday and grandparents Antonio and Martina Aguirre.
Ben was a licensed Barber and worked as a IATSE stage hand for Michigan State University and had in recent years started a wood business working along side of his father. Ben attended Charlotte High school and Potterville High School where he graduated then attended and graduated from West Michigan College of Barbering, passed the Barber license state exam becoming a licensed Barber.
He leaves to cherish his memory twins Benjamin and Aniyah Aguirre, daughter Antonia Aguirre, step-daughter Zariah Rodriquez, their mother Jordann Aguirre, father and mother Hector and Sandra Aguirre, brother Daniel Aguirre (Aaron), nieces Selena, Gabriela, Victoria; nephews Colin, Keagen and Silas; great nieces Milah, Ana, Millie; great nephew Javonni; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ben had a christian upbringing and was an awesome father and loved his children unconditionally. His love of family was such a joy to see especially at holiday events where he would hide the Easter eggs for the kids to hunt, put the kites together for the kids to fly, driving them around in the side by side and so much more. He was kind and loving and always looked out for his family and friends. Ben’s mother said he had dancing eyes! His smile would be followed by the look of happiness glowing in his eyes because of a joke he was telling or was kidding you about and the laughter was contagious! He loved his nieces and nephews and always gave them compliments or would ask if they needed anything. He was a fun loving person. Ben will be greatly missed! Our lives without Ben will be forever changed!
A celebration of Ben’s life was held privately Friday, September 10, 2021.
