Of Lansing, MichiganAge 78, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007. He was born on September 7, 1929 in Haslett, MI the son of George and Evelyn (Arney) Carter. Mr. Carter was retired from the State of Michigan as a Refrigeration Mechanic and was a Ham Radio Operator. He was a people person who could do everything. In later years, he enjoyed working out at the gym in Dewitt. He was preceded in death by his parents; Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Donna; 2 children, Karen (Mike) Krouse and Brian (Sara) Carter; 2 grandchildren, Adam Krouse and Lea Carter. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Hwy. Lansing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Lung Association in memory of Mr. Bert L. Carter.
