Our loving mother and grandmother went home to be with her Lord on January 27th at the age of 84. She was born June 13, 1928 the daughter of Thomas and Beatrice (Morgan) McCutcheon, the 10th of their 12 children. Betty was a longtime employee of Baryames Cleaners. She was also a member of Holt Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max; son, Joe; and granddaughter, Nikki. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Danny (Diane) David and Jan (Gordon) Atchley; grandchildren, Joe, Jr., Mike, Megan, Kristin, Danny, Ryan, Kelly and Tony; as well as 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 31st at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 30th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
