Betty Lou Tellier

Born to Virginia and Rollin Wilson on January 24, 1935, Betty spent most of her formative years in St. Johns, Michigan, where she graduated in 1953. Betty loved her years at Rodney B. Wilson High School and remained close with her "girlfriends" for the next six decades.

In the summer of 1960, Betty married the love of her life, Duane, and they settled in Lansing, Michigan, where they both proudly worked for General Motors for more than 30 years.

Betty and Duane shared many interests over their 62 years of marriage including, following the MSU basketball team, playing cards, fishing, skiing, and both were avid golfers. Long-time members of the Grand Ledge Country Club, Betty and Duane made many friends who became like family. Betty was also an accomplished artist and shared her artwork with friends and family.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Duane; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Mary Jane Tellier. She is survived by two brothers, Tom (Joyce) Wilson and Jerry (Diane) Wilson; one sister, Joyce Allen; as well as many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Betty will be held at St. Gerard Church in Lansing at 12:30 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at Delta Center Cemetery in Lansing.
