Beverly Bennett

Our sweet Mother passed away on Friday, August 1, 2011 at the age of 87. We will miss her humor, her beautiful soft hands, her fiery temperament and her ability to make something out of nothing. No matter how hard things got she always rose above it.

Bev donated much of her time to youth activities, both for the VFW National Home and the VFW post #701. She held office of secretary of the VFW ladies aux. for many years. She participated in hospital visits to the Veterans Hospital in Battle Creek and was also a charter member and past president of the MOCA, pup tent #5.

Beverly is preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence E. Bennett, her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Ross, Darcy Kelly, Chris (Rick) Parker; son William (Barb) Cleeves III; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial service and reception will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2011 the VFW post #701, 123 Rosemary, Lansing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Beverly?s name to Eaton County Hospice, and will be much appreciated by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tiffany Funeral Home.
