Beverly Ann Fata Fortino

Beverly Ann (Fata) Fortino - devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend - born October 19, 1933 in Lansing, MI to John and Julia Fata, died peacefully at home February 5, 2011 surrounded by her loving family while listening to her favorite opera.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Orlando Paul; her children, Angela (Bradley) Throop, Christine (Thomas) Farmer, Dina (Christopher) Cosier; beloved grandchildren, Justine, Melanie and Alex Throop, Sarah, Emily (Timothy Drier) and Caroline Farmer, Max & John Cosier; and devoted brother, Richard (Marie) Fata. She passed along to her family her love of classical music, rose gardening, baking artisan bread and special family traditions.

A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912, with Reverend William Koenigsknecht officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI.
