She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and woman of faith.
She was deeply devoted to her husband and children and gave them a lifetime of unconditional love and generous support. She made childhood special to her children by making memories for birthdays and holidays, even daily events were something to be treasured. She was thoughtful, which was evident in her gift-giving, choosing things that showed how carefully she knew and loved each person. She proudly attended her children's church and school activities, always celebrating their accomplishments.
She took great pride in her beautiful home and had a wonderful sense of style. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, flower gardening, decorating, and creating a warm and welcoming home. She also enjoyed playing games, doing crossword puzzles, and playing the organ.
In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at Fisher Body in the Sew and Cut Department and in the offices of Farm Bureau Insurance Company, Howe Delivery, and Blue Arrow. She also worked as a saleswoman at Winkelman’s, which reflected her love of fashion and style.
Her Christian faith was an important part of her life. She participated in the Women’s Missionary Ministry, attended Bible studies, and taught Sunday School to three- and four-year-old children. She was never one to gossip, but instead was a source of encouragement. She was a prayer warrior. To the end, those who surrounded her noticed the depth of her faith through her prayers. Even in pain, she experienced peace and joy from the Lord, always being grateful and expressing thanks to those who gave her care.
