

Bob was preceded in death by his grandson, Joey Nappier. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Nappier; his oldest son, Mike (Lisa) Nappier and their children, Candace Nappier, Courtney Nappier, Erica (Jason) Lachowski, Javis Nappier, and Mick Nappier; his youngest son, Tim (Joy) Nappier and their children, Zach Lazell, Robert Nappier, and Jarrod, Jordan and Justin Bishop; as well as, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was born in Washington, MO on May 19, 1941 to Benjamin and Opal Nappier. He served as a pastor for 42 years. He pastored New Home Baptist Church for 22 years and was Associate Pastor of Parker Memorial Baptist Church for 20 years. He stole Ruby’s heart picking her up from high school in his 1955 Chevrolet. They married on August 19, 1961.
Bob loved his family and the Lord. He dedicated his life to following in the foot steps of Jesus Christ. When he wasn’t spending time with his family or helping others to find solace through salvation, he could be found in his study reading. Over the years his love of reading lead him to collect over 200 books, which lined his study.
Visitation will be held on August 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 1902 E Cavanaugh Rd, Lansing, MI. Funeral Service will be held on August 12, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 1902 E Cavanaugh Rd, Lansing, MI. Committal Service will be held on August 12, 2020 at 2:15 pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI.
