I loved Dr. Nappier! He's always been a friendly face I've known since childhood... When my family and I visited Parker, he always greeted us with a sweet smile, a handshake, a ”Howdy!" in his sweet southern accent, and a warm hug. 😊
He prayed over me the night I accepted Christ as Saviour during Tent Meeting 2011, and prayed with me when I surreneder my life to God to do what He would with it. 

Heartbroken 💔 - but so thankful for the promise of Heaven we have as a blood washed, born again Christian. 💛

An older sister and a younger sister and younger brother in Missouri said goodbye when Bob and his young family moved away to Michigan years ago.  Our mom was still alive then, too.  We all missed seeing Bob and his family especially as the visits got fewer and fewer.  I can see from all of these wonderful memories that Bob's life was centered on his church.  How lucky you were.  We'll meet Bob for a nice long Nappier visit though with mom and dad along with Doris, Brenda and Rick.  It's been a few years and we look forward to it.

Many fond memories of Bob, Ruby, Mike, and Tim. We know that Bob is in a much better place, today. But, know how the hurt feels for you, also. Much love and prayers to you through this time❤️🙏

I'm forever grateful to this wonderful man whom I have so much respect for, he is responsible for helping me to my salvation, I will never forget him for this. He was the only Preacher that I could ever really understand. Brother Bob and Sister Ruby helped love and care for our children while Todd and I worked, and the kids also had all respect for  him. Brother Bob will always be in our heart and memories. Love Terri Parker(Brewer) and family.

Part Two: Many may not have known but he loved wearing cowboy boots, looking out the window at Ruby’s flowers and my pasta salad.  He was a gentle, sweet, patient, humorous, loving, devoted and God-fearing man. His love of his family and especially his love for Ruby was too big to measure.  Ruby was a perfect match to Bro. Bob.  The laughter from them both was priceless.  I went on a week’s trip to Florida for a convention with them and the main thing I remember from that trip was laughing so hard my ribs hurt for two weeks. I did not have much money in those days for a trip like that, so we ate out of a cooler for a lot of the trip. I know they did not need to do that. I’m sure they usually would have enjoyed restaurants, but they were considerate of my financial restrictions, and did this for me. They never griped or complained. That is who they were, considerate and thoughtful of others. They both loved to play practical jokes on each other.  But, to tell you the truth, I think Ruby got the better of him in most of those pranks.  One time, Bro. Bob thought there was an animal in the wall in their bedroom.  After a week of every night hearing this noise and him walking around the house (inside and out) trying to find out what the noise was, he realized Ruby was intentionally running and scraping her nails over the sheet that made a noise… no bigfoot, just Ruby playing tricks. 
Even though I have not seen him as much lately, I am sorrowful that he is not here to laugh with and miss him dearly.  But my grief is minimal compared to the family’s. My heart goes out to them.  Bro. Bob would not want any crying now but rather praises sung to God!  That is what I will try to do.  My life is greater because God called Bro. Bob, Ruby, Mike and Tim here to Lansing.  Their sacrifice was great, and I am truly thankful for them. Their husband, father and grandfather was a great, great man who was instrumental in changing many lives for the better.   Thank you for sharing him.  

Part one: How can someone write a memory or two for a man whose life on earth was filled with so many memorable moments every single day of his earthly life?  Each memory is just as great as the next. The answer is you don’t.  You can just share a few with others today and continue in the following days to reminisce, share and be grateful for all the other memories. I’m eternally grateful to have known and loved him as my Pastor for 22 years and a friend and brother in Christ for 20 more. Because of him, my son accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.  My son always said, “he was like my second father. I wanted to do things that made him proud”. He inspired my late husband to attend church with me in later years. 
Bobbie Ray Nappier was Brother Bob to me. He was the man who loved to read his Bible, preach the Gospel and lead others to Christ.  God blessed me so very much when he moved Bro. Bob to Michigan.  So many souls were saved due to this great and humble man’s love of the Lord!  He loved his congregation of brothers and sisters and when they hurt, he hurt.  If someone was sick, he was there for them. When someone needed food or a shoulder to cry on, he was there.  When Bro. Bob officiated a funeral service, I always felt like I had been to a revival when he finished.  He touched hearts with his ability to celebrate the person’s life, and always shared the love of Jesus; but, his main focus was to  preach the way to salvation. 

Bob married my cousin Ruby when I was just a wee young thing. He had a good sense of humor and a great laugh. He loved our family videos. Wonderful human! Sending love, comfort and peace to Ruby, Tim, Mike and all the family.  Love you guys!

Bob, Ruby, Mike and Tim spent so much time with our family when I was growing up so we might as well be related.  Bob would always have his guitar with him and the very first solo I ever sung in church was accompanied by Bob and his guitar.  "What a Friend We Have in Jesus".  Can't sign this song today without thinking of him.  You will certainly be missed, but Praise God we will see one another one day in the future.

We were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great man that affected so many peoples lives.  Can you imagine the look on his face after  shutting his eyes on this earth and opening  them in heaven.  Our prayers are with you and your families
