Brenda Claudette Parker

Brenda Claudette (Johnson) Parker of Potterville MI, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2026 at the age of 69, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing MI. Born January 1, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, she was the daughter of James and Edith (Guthrie) Johnson. She attended school in Lansing, MI. Brenda worked many jobs before she got her GED and went on to attend Ross Medical where she graduated as a Medical Assistant. Brenda worked at MSU Sports Medicine for several years. Brenda's favorite pastime was playing pool, and she was the Director of the Michigan Pocket Billiards Players league for over 25 year, where she met many people who grew to love her dearly.

Brenda is survived by her mother and step-father, Edith and Don Daggett of Lansing, MI; her daughter, Amanda Parker of Fowlerville MI; her granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her father; younger brothers, Bruce Johnson and Jimmy Johnson; her grandparents; many aunts and uncles; and several cousins.

A visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI, from 10 am to 12 pm, funeral service will be at 12pm.
