

Camia (Corlis Jean Stoudamire) Roberts was born August 17, 1959 in Pine Bluff Arkansas, to the parents of Walter and Pearline Stoudamire.
Camia accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Greater Ward Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Camia received her formal education at Watson Chapel High School Pine Bluff Arkansas, and later moved to Lansing, Michigan where she became a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Camia worked for GM for 30 years until she retired. Her co-workers, family, and friends addressed her by her nickname “Coco.”
Camia always had time for her son Stevie. She was proud of his achievements in life, graduating from high school, getting married and having a family.
One of the life lessons Stevie remembered the most from his Mom is “If you Don’t Stand for Something You’ll Fall for Anything”.
Camia Roberts was preceded in death by her Father Walter Lee Stoudamire Sr. Mother Pearline Ellis Stoudamire, and Sister Mildred Ophelia Stoudamire.

One Brother Walter Lee Stoudamire Jr. Sister-in-Law Shurline Mathis Stoudamire, Two Niece’s Dana Jefferies, & Jasmine Stoudamire. One nephew David Stoudamire and Four Great Niece’s Anastasia, DaNaeJa Stoudamire, Andra and Alania Stoudamire. One Uncle, Donque Ellis and Wife Patsy Ellis, and a host of Cousins and Friends.
Funeral Services for Camia will be held on September 7, 2022, 11:00 a.m at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw St. Lansing, MI 48917 with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial to take place after the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906.
