Carey was a graduate of Mason High School. He later received a degree in graphic design from Lansing Community College. He served in the Army for 3 years and was employed as a 3D Artist.
Carey was a great father and husband. He was passionate about birds, dogs, and helping people. He enjoyed taking his bird, Casper, to the hospital to cheer up the workers.
Carey was preceded in death by his parents, Tim (Beverly) Feazel and Virginia (Don) Launstein.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Michelle; son, Bradley (Brittany) Feazel; grandson, Gage Feazel; siblings, Tammie Jashan, Cheryl (Gary) Clifton, Chris Brodberg (Connie), Harald Brodberg and Edward Groh, Jr; aunt, Ruth Doughty; as well as many nieces and nephews.
