Carol Bauer

Holt, MI

Died April 8, 2013 at the age of 65. Carol was born in Lansing, MI May 24, 1947 to Lloyd and Irene May (Forquer) Curtis. She lived for her family (children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews), was “Nana” to everyone and loved her boys, Bud and Billy. She had a very generous spirit and fed everyone, no one ever went hungry.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy and her parents.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond; daughter Trisha (Doug) Penner; step-daughter Kerry (Bob) White; sons Aaron (Ellen) Ely and step-son Kevin (Kim) Bauer; five grandchildren Delaney, Cindy, Samantha, Steven and Haley and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are brother Bruce (Brandi) Curtis and four sisters, Mary (Ray) Lower, Rena (Randy) Farr, Toni (Kenny) Spurbeck and Jamie Hettinger.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Holt Baptist Church, 2020 Dean, Holt, MI 1:00 p.m..

The family wishes to thank the staff at Sparrow 4th floor Foster Unit who have become family over the past few days.
