She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth whom passed away in 2014.
Carol is survived by, her sons; Dan (Natalie), Ken (Carol), and Robert Phinney, daughter Carolyn (Kurt) Rommel, Grandchildren; Barbara (Aaron) Romine, Ben (Jenn) Phinney, Jamie Hilton, Mike (Jennifer) Phinney, and Ken Phinney. She also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren.
Carol was a lifelong resident of lansing, however she loved to travel throughout her life. She enjoyed playing penny slots at the casinos.
She was a very crafty person and enjoyed making and decorating cakes for any occasion along with doing art and crafts that involved drawing and coloring.
Carol loved her dogs; Boo Boo and Sandy.
There will be a memorial service for Carol at 2:00p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing Michigan 48912 with visitation one hour prior
