I used to work with Celia at Michigan Millers in the Seventies.   She was not only my Manager, she was also a very dear friend.   Celia had a great personality & I have many fond memories of her.  When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, she was the first person I told after I told my husband.  After I left Michigan Millers, we kept in touch, but I lost track of her after she moved from her house near Waverly HS.  She was a lovely lady, and a very special friend.  She will be greatly missed.  Rest in peace my friend.

I have many fond memories of my Aunt, she made the best fudge.  Whenever the family would meet at "the cottage", near Remus, she would make fudge.  Something I always looked forward too.  
Aunt Teelie is the first person I think of whenever I see a Chevy Corvair, she owned every model made, she even let me drive the last model she owned.  I can still picture myself behind the drivers wheel.

I first met Celia in 2009 when she came to lve at Delta Retirement Center. She came walking into the office one morning waving a hearing aid around. Telling me it was broke. That it would not go in her ear and could I help.  So I took the hearing aid studied it for a moment then proceeded to put it in her ear. once in her ear I asked if she could hear me. Yes I can but you put it in the wrong ear. 
   I will miss Celia she was great friend and gave the best hugs.. I would like to thank all of Celia's Family members for sharing her with me. my life was richly blessed for knowing her.

Ms. Cowles lived across the street from me for many years. I would often visit her and take a plate of cookies or just sit down for a chat. She was always watching over us and I loved having her for a neighbor. Although we lost touch over the years, (no longer seeing her at Kroger or Meijer) I have not forgotten her. I will always remember her and now instead of looking out her window at us, she will be looking down on us from heaven.

You will never be forgotten, Teelie.
