Age 83, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at his home. Born January 6, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran. He earned his Master’s degree from Michigan State University. He was a Police Officer in the Lansing Police Department for many years. He later became an Industrial Arts Teacher at Portland Middle School and retired after a long career.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Ruby V. White; son and daughter-in-law, Charles R. “Randy” and Lisa White; 2 grandson, Joshua White and Andrew White; sister, Margaret (Duane) Graham; and many other family members and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Charles White.
Private family services were held at Delta Center Cemetery.
