Cheryl Louise (Snead) Arrain, age 68 of East Lansing, MI passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born on September 17, 1953 in Gibson City, Illinois the daughter of Ronald Dean Snead and Carol Louise (Jackson) Scot.
Cheryl was a nurse, caring for others in hospitals, nursing homes and in home health care. She was a talented quilter and spent many hours making quilts for her family. Over the years, Cheryl loved to travel, she lived on Prince Edward Island and in California, Williamsburg, Virginia was one of her fondest places to visit. She loved to read and was a matchmaker for her niece. Cheryl will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her faith and that she lived life to the fullest to the best of her ability.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Carol L. Scot; her sisters, Mary Kathryn Snead, Susan Shellcliffe and Danielle McMahon (Mark Miller); nephews, Morgan and Torrey McGowan, David, Joe and John Miller; her niece, Casey Miller and many great-nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Snead and both of her husbands, William Arrain and Paul Arrain.
Cheryl was a parishioner of Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing, there will be a service held here for her at later date. For those desiring memorial contributions in Cheryl’s honor may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society. Cheryl was very fond of her cats and adopted many from the Humane Society.
