I will always remember my "Emmaus Mama." Cheryl loved me and I her. We met when I was a Pilgrim on a Walk to Emmaus and Cheryl was the Lay Director. It was the perfect Walk experience for me in all ways and God knew Cheryl was the Lay Director for me and He set us up to bond that weekend and for the following 20 years. I am thrilled that Cheryl is Home. I am praying for her family in this time of transition. I thank them for including me in Cheryl's family as they have. Cheryl is unforgettable. Mother's Day will never be the same for me.
