Cora “Bunny” Lynne Feguer, born March 18, 1935 to John and Cora (Rodgers) Klettke, passed away peacefully and painlessly January 19, 2015 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Cora was a strong, loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a nurse at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing until her retirement. Bunny took bits and pieces from each of her grandmothers and incorporated those concepts into her grandchildren’s lives, giving them the best of all of the generations. She was a role model for her children as they parent and grandparent their children. They rejoice that her body is healed and complete. They rejoice that they will see her again where she can walk and laugh and look down on them and smile. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, William; daughters, Deborah (Dwight) Cutter, Lynette (Daniel) Sherer, and Angela (David) Kenny; granddaughters, Jessica (Stephen) Nicholas, Brandie (Michael) Mancini, Elizabeth Lee Kenny, and Catherine Marie Kenny; great grandchildren, Emily Nicholas, Brianna Selmier, Ethan Nicholas, and Arianna Mancini.
Bunny was a devout Catholic. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 24, at the Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Avenue in Lansing. Family will receive friends one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment will take place at Mount Rest Cemetery in St. Johns. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Elizabeth Seton Residence, where Bunny lived her final years, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley, MA 02481—5338, in memory of Cora Feguer.
“Peace I leave you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel. Memories and condolences may be shared with them at www.grlansing.com.
