Daniel Ross Stouffer, Jr, age 70, of Lansing and formerly of Houghton Lake, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, after a lengthy health journey surrounded by caring individuals and his hospice team.
He was employed by the State of Michigan for several years and enjoyed many hobbies.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents. He will be remembered by his wife, children, and grandchildren, along with his brother and other family members.
The family would like to express gratitude to Dan's caregivers and to Trinity Health Hospice Care for their dedication, compassion, and excellent care.
Interment will be in Crestview Cemetery, Roscommon, Michigan. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the Capital Area Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
