

Darlene was known for her humorous and very social nature. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity.
Darlene was a proud graduate of Waverly High School, class of 1969. She spent many years working in the food services industry, where she excelled in customer service, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike.
Her personal interests were as vibrant as her personality. Darlene loved car racing and cherished the time she spent with friends at the Corrigan Oil Speedway. She was an enthusiastic supporter of Michigan State University, as well as a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers.
Darlene was formerly married to both the late Robert Graham and the late Joseph Nicklosovich. She was the beloved mother of Ami (Marcus) Hilton, and a dear grandmother to Guadalupe (Miranda) Alvarez III, Jose (Skylar) Alvarez Sr., and Ricardo Alvarez. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren and her proud great-grandchildren: Jose Alvarez Jr., Te Ata Alvarez, and Emiliano Alvarez. Darlene was also a caring sister to Lowell Daniels, and she is predeceased by her brothers Dennis Daniels and Lloyd Daniels.
Darlene's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her loving spirit and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
The visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, between the hours of 11 am until the funeral service at 2 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Dimondale, MI.
