

Of Lansing, MIDarwin Lee Brownlee, age 55, left Vietnam and went home on July 7, 2007. He was born on February 15, 1952 in Lansing the son of Melvin L. and Darlene (Deyoe) Brownlee. Dar was a decorated combat veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a family man with a huge heart and was retired after working as an Op Tech for General Motors Corporation and Saturn Corporation. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Brownlee and father-in-law George Brownell. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Denise M. ; 2 daughters, Andrea and Melanie Brownlee; 3 grandchildren, Jeromy, Elizabeth, and LeeAnne; mother-in-law, Marilyn O?Neill; sister, Dawn (Chuck) Komorous; 3 brothers, Larry (Cindy) Brownlee, Alan (Tracey) Brownlee, and Darryl (Holley) Brownlee; 3 sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Ed) Sosnowski, Angela (Bruce) Witwer, and Michele (Chuck) Hill; many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Hwy. Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Henry Ford Hospital or to the Sparrow Health System CCU. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Siano and the Sparrow CCU nurses, Patty, Judy, Natalie, and Holly.
