David graduated from Waverly High School in Lansing, MI. Following high school, he began his career in construction. He loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and snowmobiling. He would often travel to his favorite spot, Houghton Lake, where he found peace and serenity in the nature.
David is survived by his sisters: Dianne (David) Berry and Denise (Dan) Hack; nephews: Matthew Berry and Steven Berry; and nieces: Danielle Hootman and Kimberly Berry. He was preceded in death by his parents: LaVergne and Jean Dyer.
A graveside service for David will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 am at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Rd. Lansing, MI 48917.
