Beyond raising her wonderful children, she touched so many others within the Waverly community. There are so many moments she influenced my life. I will always remember her being one of the first people I would see after every soccer and lacrosse game. Win or lose, she was proud of us. Our biggest cheer leader.

Her patience with a very slow majorette learner is another, brings a smile to me when I think about that patience. What a sweetheart. She will be missed, those memories will stay in all of your hearts forever. Hold them close.

When I was 17, my brother Joseph and I spent a month in Lansing during the summer. Debbie and Mark graciously offered to board us. Some of the fondest memories of my childhood came from this time. Bbq's every other night, bicycle rides through the neighborhood with Chad and Corey, Danielle telling us to stay out of her room, an afternoon with a tornado warning in Okemos that turned the sky black, green, purple and orange. When (Uncle) Mark brought us to the dealership to see the new Fords. Debbie was my first cousin once removed, but I've always looked to her as an aunt from my daddy's side. Never did she not have our best interests in mind. My heart will forever be with her family.
