Age 38, died December 12, 2006 in Lansing. Denise was born August 29, 1968 in Lansing, Michigan and was the daughter of Dennis E. & Cheryl A. (Bennick) Leek. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. She worked for BoRics hair salon, was a longtime hair stylist, enjoyed art, traveling, flower gardening and loved animals. Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Leek; grandson, Lorenz Leek; parents, Dennis Leek and Cheryl Leek; brother, Jeff Leek; aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be 10-11AM Monday, December 18, 2006 with the Funeral Service 11:00AM at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing 48917. The Rev. James E. Robinson of Bethal Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be Evergreen Cemetery.
