Dennis Leek

of Lansing, MichiganAge 62, died July 25, 2008 in Lansing. Dennis was born June 16, 1946 in Lansing and was to son of Ernest & Hildred Leek. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, and uncle. Dennis was a physical plant painter at Michigan State University for the past 28 years. He was true M.S.U. fan and loved watching M.S.U. sports. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Ann Leek in 2006; his parents; brother, Jim Leek; sisters, Helen Leek and Dorothy Lewis.

Surviving are his son, Jeffrey E. Leek; granddaughter, Lisa Leek; great-grandson, Lorenz Leek; his wife and friend, Cheryl Leek; 2 brothers, David (Pam) Leek and Charles (Emogene) Leek; 4 sisters, Kathrine Benford, Norma Williams, Joyce Lawrence, and Carolyn Leek; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 1, 2008 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with family hour from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may visit Dennis from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for their care of Dennis.
