Dianna Kay Lovell was born on March 24, 1963, to John and Kay Lovell. She died in her home on January 8th, 2024, the final result of a series of falls occurring on January 7 & 8, 2024. Dianna lived in Lansing Michigan all her life, attending Everett High School and LCC. She received numerous accolades and awards during her years in the banking industry. Dianna was a homespun gal with hometown loyalties. Dianna loved life and strived to laugh, play and pet all the kitties and puppies. She shared her love of music, concerts, and her heroes with whomever would listen, she even tattooed Led Zeppelin’s drummer on her arms so she could take them with her always. She took pictures constantly, and laughed wherever and whenever with abandon. She was an avid follower of all sports; ball games, bowling, tennis, and golf. Bowling was her favorite “do it yourself” sport, and she carried an average of 196-201. She was a proud democrat and was supportive and available to all her friends and family, especially to her mom. Her best friend Val Kovoch has been immensely helpful to her mom as well as Dianna, then and now.
Our beautiful soul, our pal, our friend, our Dianna. We can’t have her anymore and will miss her so. She loved with all her might. So you go, gone girl, on the wings of doves and eagles and their helpers.
Dianna was preceded in death by her grandparents on both the Lovell and Hummel sides, father John H. Lovell, brother Jon C. Lovell, and aunt June Short. Left to miss her are her mom Kay Lovell, brother Erick Lovell, fan/sister/friend Melinda (Wendy) Keller and family, niece Cassandra Walker, uncle A.J. Monroe, aunts Linda Monroe, Joanna Lovell, Joyce DePue, Judy Minich, Lovella Lovell, Jeannie Fortman, and her many nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
