Dolores May Satterlee

Age 85, died on Monday, August 10, 2015. She was born March 31, 1930 in St. Clair Shores, MI, the daughter of Raymond and Edith Tonks. She is survived by her son Eric and wife Cheryl of Haslett, MI; son Michael and wife Elaine of Lansing, MI; daughter Lora of Mesa, AZ; son Neil and wife Marilyn of Kodak, TN; daughter-in-law Laura of Mt. Pleasant, MI; daughter Gina of Mesa, AZ; daughter Sara of Mesa, AZ; and two sisters-in-law Jackie Tonks of Ann Arbor, MI and Deana Tonks of Laughlin, NV. She has sixteen grandchildren, Jamie, Travis, Becky, Emily, Rachael, Aaron, Lacey, Madisen, Tamara, Amy, Dylan, Jeshua, Christian, Malachi, Justin and Mariah. She has eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; father Raymond; mother Edith; step-mother Alice; brothers Ronald and Gary; and sons Alan and Paul.

Dolores was a very busy homemaker with eight children and loved cooking for her family. She and her husband Richard opened Exteriors of Lansing in 1979. In 1996 they sold the business and retired to central Michigan. She enjoyed studying the Bible and discussing what she learned with others.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., with funeral services 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 15, 2015 officiated by family members in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
