Donald Elwyn Goodson

Donald Elwyn Goodson "Donnie" born January 31, 1966 to David Elwyn and Anita JoAnn Goodson passed away peacefully in his sleep March 2, 2012. Donnie was preceded in death by his father David; mother, Anita; and his brother, Dana. He is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years Tracy; brothers, David, Duane and Lee Goodson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Donnie's life was centered around Special Olympics and the bingo halls. During Special Olympics he received many medals, trophies and awards for poly-hockey, basketball, softball, bocce ball, bowling and cross country skiing. Donnie's family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to his coaches, Gary, Marla, Don and Pat for all of the support and encouragement you provided over the years. When Donnie wasn't practicing or competing with Special Olympics he was working at several area bingo halls. The latest being the Jackpot with Nancy and several friends. Through both of these organizations Donnie created countless friendships and lasting memories. Donnie will be missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched.
