Donatello "Donnie" Fue-Chy Fondern, passed away in Lansing on October 25, 2025, at just two years old. Born on June 19, 2023, Donnie brought endless joy, love, and light to everyone who was blessed to know him.

Donnie had a million-dollar smile that could brighten any room. His long lashes framed his big brown eyes, and his soft, curly hair was as perfect as his gentle spirit. He loved story time with his mom and watching football on Sundays with his dad. Donnie adored the animated movie Migration and laughed at its every scene. His FaceTime calls with his grandma Lucretia were some of his happiest moments. He had a heart full of kindness and loved being around other children — his joyful energy made him a friend to all.

He is the beloved son of Deon Fondern and Kristella Vue, and the cherished grandchild of Seng Vue, Gwen Yang, Benjamin Fondern, Lucretia Thomas and Earnest Lewis. Donnie is preceded in death by his aunt Sharae Fondern.

Donnie’s bright smile, loving heart, and beautiful soul will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman -Tiffany Chapel.

Following the services, a reception will follow at the Vue Country Hall from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., where family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and celebrate Donnie’s life.
