On February 23, 1956 she married Gary Lee Blanchard. Donna was a member of Indian River Presbyterian Church in Ft. Pierce, FL. She worked at a variety of retail stores. From 1972 - 1978 she worked at Ingham Intermediate School District as a receptionist, and retired from the district. Donna enjoyed church functions, the opera, plays, and flea markets. Her favorite activities included swimming, camping, fishing, walking the beach, and flower gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Gary Lee Blanchard; children, Gary A. (Jennifer Kay) Blanchard and Pamela K. Zink; grandchildren, Amber (Brian) Dakin, Mathew Blanchard, Bethany Zink, and Adam Zink; great-grandson, Kingston Donnell; brother, Michael J. Pierson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Ted" Pierson and Virginia Pierson; siblings, Marian Brown, Eileen Rider, and Robert “Bill” Pierson.
