Donna Jeanette Kent

Donna Jeannette Kent, 89, passed away January 3, 2015. Donna was born October 22, 1925 in Flint, Michigan to Donald and Minnie (Beaubian) Grove. She was a very gentle, friendly, kind, and generous woman who was a role model for all who met her. Donna loved her grandchildren and her pets and was a lifetime Detroit Tigers fan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Kent; daughter, Marcia Kissinger; and grandson, Jarrod Hammond. Surviving to cherish Donna’s memory are her daughter, Constance (Michael) Wall; grandchildren, Caroline, Christine, and Clara Wall; and niece, Dayle Darby.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Delta Hillside Cemetery.
