Dorothy Reeder

Dorothy married Charles Reeder in 1950 and they were married 65 years. She worked for the State of Michigan and retired in 1981. She liked sewing, knitting, crocheting, tatting, calligraphy and craft items. Dorothy was a member of the Moose, Chapter 116, Fraternal order of Eagles Aerie 1039 and a life member of the VFW Post 701 Auxiliary and VFW National Home.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2015; parents Hobert and Ida Kenyon; sisters Elinore Kenyon 1933 and Virginia Haite 1956; and brother Donald Kenyon 1922.

She is survived by her sister Janet McClelland of Nashville, MI; brothers Lyle Kenyon of Port Charlotte, FL and Glenn (Seigrid) Kenyon of Southport, NC; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Dorothy will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00am with a visitation one hour prior at Delta Mills United Methodist Church, 6809 Delta River Dr. Lansing, MI with Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm.
