So sorry to hear of Dwight’s passing. I worked w him for years at Dwight Rich MS. He was the kindest rock a person could know. He always had the best interests of his students and staff in mind & at heart when tackling problems. You could go to Dwight w any situation & know that he would do what he could w the resources he had and ALWAYS in a positive manner. Many students & colleagues are better people because of Dwight. We all have nothing but fond memories of this good man.

Vicki, and the Sutliff Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I had not met Dwight, Pat and Steve spoke fondly of him and you, and I learned we shared a mutual friend, Miriam, who worked with him in the Lansing schools. Among other compliments, she said he was a true gentleman. May your heart be filled with wonderful memories, and my warm thoughts are with you. Carol Pride

My friendship with Vicki dates back to college. My husband and I met Dwight via Vicki. We enjoyed some golf rounds during the summers and visits to Pentwater and they to Muskegon. Dwight had such a pleasing, easy going personality and never lacking for conversation. My deepest sympathy to Vicki and Dwight's family for your loss. Wishing you folks peace and strength at this difficult time. I'll be keeping Vicki close in my heart.

Dear Emily, Vicki, and Family,

Please know we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this sad occasion.

Dwight was such a sweet guy to be around and we enjoyed his company at the army reunions.

We will always remember him as he was when he visited us in NC on his way to Myrtle Beach, young, happy, enjoying his family.

Jesus loves each of you. Rest in his comfort.

Love to you,
Ronald and Wanda Jackson

I was a colleague of Mr. Sutliff - as I called him- at Dwight Rich for many years. I really respected his professionalism and the positive way he treated staff and students alike. He had a great chuckle and I liked hearing his analysis of our hectic and often chaotic ever changing school environment. Sorry to learn of his passing.

Dwight will be remembered as a gentle, thoughtful, interesting person. I did not know him well, but enjoyed talking with him and sharing a too-short friendship. Bruce and I will miss him, and we are hoping that Vicki's wonderful memories of their years together will give her warmth and solace.

What a wonderful man to share a golf game with or as a lunch companion! Dwight was remarkable in his dedication to his family and also to his friends. We met Dwight and Vicki at our Florida home community of Timber Greens, only to find out later that we were Michigan neighbors as well! We will miss him greatly.

We know Dwight and Vicki from Timber Greens in New Port Richey, Florida. We had great fun golfing, going to theater performances and sharing all the activities of our community, experiencing his fun, kind, gentle nature. We were fortunate to visit them in Michigan and see the places he so loved sharing with family and friends. He never talked about his grandchildren without beaming with pride.
Dwight will be missed. RIP dear friend
