OBITUARY

Elaine Ann Baldino

July 6, 1940May 29, 2021

Elaine A. Baldino (“Aunt”) passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 80. She was born in Lansing, Michigan to Joseph and Mary Baldino. She was a hairdresser by trade, but also worked in the party store owned by her family. She was known to travel, talk daily, and exchange recipes with her best friend and sister, Barbara. She loved baking cookies for family events and constantly shared her love for cooking. “Aunt”, as she is known to most, had a laugh that was contagious and a positive attitude throughout life’s ups and downs.

She is preceded in death by Joe Baldino (father), Mary Baldino (mother), Phil Baldino (Brother), Barbara Dionise (sister), Pat Dionise (brother-in-law), Debbie Baldino (niece) and numerous other family members. She leaves behind her brother, Jimmy (Riki) Baldino, sister-in-law, Carolyn Baldino, and many nieces and nephews that adored her like she was their second mother. Our heart aches for her loss, but we rejoice in knowing she is at peace with her family again.

Thanks to Joe and Barb Frazier at Fairview Adult Foster care and all her friends at Clinton St. Apartments, especially, Marilynn.

Family visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 pm Wednesday at Tiffany Funeral Home with the Rosary prayed at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gerard Church on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 1:30 pm.

Dear Elaine,
I have such wonderful memories of you while raising my kids with Lisa's kids. All the times we would sit on the back patio watching the kids play. Your such a sweet lady.

Oh, Elaine, you were a special part of our little Hopkins Street "family". I'm grateful for your friendship and the good influence you were on our little girls. I'm grateful for your long life, but know you will be greatly missed. Fly free, dear lady!

So sad to learn of Elaine’s passing. She was a wonderful person whom I knew, along with her parents (Joe and Mary), when we all lived in Williamston. Rest In Peace, Elaine. You are loved and missed!
