Eleonore Sadler

Eleanore Hutschenreuther Sadler [ Elly ] much beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away November16, 2025. Elly a longtime Lansing area resident was preceded in death by her husband of 70 plus years Clinton and only sister Isolde. Elly was born into a distinguished family in Munich, Bavaria on March 15, 1927 and emigrated to Michigan in 1948. She leaves three children Doris Jean Sadler Prince [ Doug ] of Castle Rock, Co. Eldred Clinton Sadler [ Maliea ] of Kalamazoo and Dale Arthur Sadler [ Jill ] of Lansing. Elly also leaves behind eight grandkids and seven great grandkids. She also leaves behind a legacy of many close, wonderful friends over her lifetime. She was a lifetime member of German ladies clubs [ Dank ] in Flint and Lansing. She was also a very popular German language teacher at Flint Jr. college for many years. Elly was a very endearing and charismatic individual that attracted all those who came into contact with her. Her family in Munich can be traced back for hundreds of years and were noted university educators. Her grandfathers residence is in fact now the Munich youth hostel. Elly loved to travel, returning to Europe over the years and she and her husband Clinton travelled all across America camping, which they both enjoyed. Elly was very devoted to all her family and friends and was an exemplary individual to all those that knew and loved her. Her charm and vibrant personality will be sadly missed. A celebration of her interesting and eventful life will be observed in the spring of 2026.
