Ellen Jean Miller - Walworth

Age 95, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother passed away unexpectedly February 16, 2020. Ellen Jean was born April 21, 1924 in Morrice, Michigan. She retired from Michigan Funeral Directors Association after many years of service.

Surviving are her daughter, Cathy J. (Dave) Beck; son, Steve G. (Theresa) Miller; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and many other family members and friends. Ellen Jean was preceded in death by her 2 daughters, Kristan Machtel and Mary Jo Miller; 2 husbands, George Miller and Victor Walworth; and her special friend, Gene Dexter.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Friday with the Funeral Liturgy beginning at 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 28, 2020 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein presiding. Rite of committal will be later at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery next to her husband, George. The reception will be from 12:30 – 3:00 P.M. at DeLuca’s Restaurant.
