Flo E. Davis, 89, passed away on March 13, 2025, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Dimondale, Michigan. She was a resident of Bloomington, Indiana for 54 years. Flo was a Registered Nurse with two Nurse Practitioner’s licenses and a Master of Nursing. She served on Bloomington’s City Council, Utilities Board, and Hospital Board. In 2016, she received a Lifetime Contribution Award for Women’s History Month from the City of Bloomington. She was an active member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. She volunteered for multiple organizations and specifically at Special Days Camps and Opportunity House.
Flo is survived by her daughter, Carol Anne (Tom); son, Mark (Tammy); grandchildren, Henry and Ella; brother, Jack (Wilma); sisters, Janice (Jan) and Carol (Martin); sisters-in-law, Rosalie and Terry; ten nieces and nephews, as well as dear family friends the Willoughby and Jackson families. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Hubert; parents, Carl and Jessie; brother, Richard; brother-in-law, Bob; nephews, Jeff and Jason, and beloved friend, Elton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Bloomington on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m.
