Francis “Sonny” Lumbert born June 17, 1936 in Sebewa, Michigan passed away December 8, 2014. He was 78. Sonny was a loving family man who was loved by all that knew him. His work life was varied and interesting including jobs at Farm Bureau, Potter Park, owner of Jim’s Drive-In and most recently the MEA. He was also a verteran of the US Army. Sonny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ellen; his daughter, Melinda (Edward); grandsons, Christopher and Jacob (Brontae); and granddaughter Katie; siblings Gladah, Jim (Martha), Cliff (Karen), Jerry (Merlene), Wendy (Lin), Cindy, Bob (Dawn), Larry (Sandy); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Jean. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum.
