Mr. Franklin C. Leitch, 92, of Lansing, MI, passed away with his son at his side on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Franklin was born in Newport News, Virginia on July 10, 1923 to the late Franklin C. Sr. and Anna T. (Matthews) Leitch. He went on to marry the love of his life Lola. He spent his working years working at Oxford Boat Yard, as a Rigger. Franklin had worked as a lifetime Volunteer Firefighter for the Oxford Fire Department in Oxford, Maryland. He loved fishing and really enjoyed the water. He was a Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed watching the game. Franklin served his country as a WWII veteran with the United States Navy. Surviving are his son Donald and Barbara (Dippel) Leitch, of Lansing, MI. Franklin was preceded in death by his wife, Lola and 2 sons; John Charles and Crawford Lee.
