Gayle Richard Kinney 12/15/1944 - 7/29/2026. Gayle was a proud Pilgrim in the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Legion of the Moose. During his 40+ years of membership, he served in many leadership roles including State President.
Gayle was a scoutmaster, Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, and a Silver Beaver award winner in Scouting USA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He volunteered many years at the American Red Cross and Loaves and Fishes of Lansing.
Gayle was very proud of his family and loved them very much. He is survived by his sons Matthew (Amy), Andrew (Tammy), and Christopher (Lorrie). his granddaughters Marissa, Lana, Kaylee, and Katie, his sister Linda Smith, nephew Kent and niece Nikki. He was preceded in death by his wife Gayla.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Red Cross, MooseHeart, MooseHaven, Scouting USA (Boy Scouts of America), or Loaves and Fishes of Lansing.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 5, 2026 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with a Loyal Order of Moose ceremony at 7:00 pm. Funeral will be Thursday August 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E Michigan Avenue, Lansing 48912
