

He is preceded in death by his wife, Leda Goff; his daughter, Leslie Athy; his parents, William and Dorothea Goff; his brothers, Doug, Jim, and Ralph; and also his special friend, Carol Chaffee.
Surviving are his son, Gerald II (Kellee) Goff; his son-in-law, Bob Athy; his grandchildren, Allison (Mike) Liebengood, Lindsey (Adam) Castillo, Danielle Goff, and Ryan (Annette) Goff; his great-grandchildren, Brayden and Connor Liebengood, Zander, Leighton, and Ledger Castillo, Nathan and Oliver Goff; his extended family, Doug and Diane Burke, Brittney (Noah) Curl, Neal and Everett Curl, Jessica (Rickie) Covert, Kolson Covert, Courtney, Trisha, and Megan Burke.
He retired from Fisher Body after more than 30 years of dedicated service. An avid traveler and camper, he enjoyed exploring destinations across the United States. Following the passing of his beloved wife, he made his home in Flagler Beach, Florida, where he formed lasting friendships and spent many years gathering daily with friends at the Golden Lion.
Family was the center of his life. He cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and participating in beagle trials. A devoted beagle enthusiast and member of the Red Cedar Beagle Club, he particularly loved rabbit hunting with his beagles alongside his son, Gerald. He also enjoyed bowling and roller skating, pursuits that reflected his active and adventurous spirit.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years, a commitment that remained an important part of his life and legacy.
