Gerald "Jerry" Weissinger

Passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Casa Grande, Arizona, on his 90th birthday. Jerry was born November 17, 1922, the son of the late Albert and Beulah Weissinger, and grew up in Haslett, Michigan. After retiring, he lived in Rodney, MI in the summer and wintered in Arizona City, AZ with his wife of almost 66 years. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Jet Die and Engineering for 31 years, retiring in 1989. Gerald married Phyllis Wilson on December 17, 1946 and she survives him. Also surviving to cherish his memory are daughters, Pamela (Gary) Trimmer, Carol (Jeff) Carrier and Connie (Joe) Raney; grandchildren Shauntelle (Rick) Schafer, Sara Trimmer, John (Monica) Savalli, Michael (Johanna) Savalli and William (Dana) LaVoie; four great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; and sisters, Clella Dickinson and Winona Kirby. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
