Born July 14, 1925 in Lansing, the daughter of the late Dewey and Lulu (Bell) Collard, passed away February 12, 2013 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 55 years, William Elliott in 2004; and her sister Ellen. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Debra L. Elliott, Shelly D. Elliot, Donald J. Crater (Joan DeLau), and James C. Elliott; 5 loving grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Dewey (Pat) Collard; and sister, Patricia (Richard) Denison. Gerri was a charter member of the Mason/Holt Eagles #3734 Ladies Auxiliary for many years. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
