Gilberta Stella Trepasso

Gilberta was born January 10, 1926 in Crystal Falls, MI. She was the youngest child of Dominic and Antonia (Shilla) Trepasso. She spent her childhood years in Crystal Falls graduating from Forest Park with the class of 1943. Gil began her work career as a clerk for J.C.Penney and was eventually employed by Michigan Bell. She transferred to Lansing and served in various positions until her retirement in 1982 after serving for 35 years. Through the years she was involved in a variety of activities. She played tennis, bowling, and took her hand at golf. She was very active in the Telephone Pioneers, and St. Therese St. Vincent DePaul food pantry. She was one of the "three amigos" who were involved in many activities around the neighborhood and church. Gil loved reading and crossword puzzles. Ever ready to play a game of cards and a visit to the casino. She was up to the challenge to win. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Biagio (Dorothy) Trepasso, Chet (Finny) Kemppinen, Angelo (Tressa) Trepasso, Tony (Edith) Trepasso, Ralph (Eve) Trepasso, Santina (Julius) Bosko, Theresa Trepasso, brother-in-law Bob Schultz, as well as nieces and nephews. Survivors include lasting friends Mary Ann Yahr and Sister Marie Carla Moeggenborg, sister, Mary Schultz, many nieces and nephews, friends, and members of her extended circle. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated ay St. Therese Parish, 102 W Randolph Street, Lansing MI 48906 at 11:00 am on Friday, June 8th, 2022. Visitation will take place beginning at 10:00am prior to the 11am Mass. Father John Fain will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tiffiany Funeral services.
